Working Together - Western Slope 4-Wheelers Club
Perhaps one of the toughest parts of helping clean the forests is working on the campgrounds. Sometimes these places become host to people not so familiar with the responsibilities associated with outdoorsmanship and the struggle the stewards of these lands have to endure to keep them open.
Sign work is very important on the trails - they not only tell visitors about trail hazards but also help inform travellers of where they may or may not be equipped explore.
Because of their work, WS4W members have more than enough to celebrate on the Fourth of July.
The work of the Western Slope 4-Wheelers, the Forest Service, and the BLM has helped keep some of the most spectacular trails in Colorado open for others to enjoy.
