The Temple Trail had to climb the Hurricane Cliffs to get to Mt. Trumbull. The road where that ascent was made is not open to motorized travel. There are historic markers and the track where the road was cut into solid rock is obvious. It was built to accommodate wagons carrying timber up to 48 feet long. View Related Article
