Toyota Off-Road - TTORA TakeOver

Late in the day this buggy showed up to make us all feel like amateurs. The capabilities of a custom-fabricated rock buggy like this are in a whole different category than the types of vehicles the rest of us were driving. Many of the people who attended had not seen a buggy like this in person, and after watching it climb boulders most people wouldn't climb on foot, they realized what the word "custom" really means.

Matt Ralston of Lafayette, Colorado, and his '06 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 showed us what experience behind the wheel is all about. Although his vehicle was one of the longest, he had little to no trouble with the terrain challenges. He made good use of both his ARB front bumper and a strong set of DeMello Offroad rock sliders.

A few of us who had never seen one of these before stared at it for about five minutes until we finally saw someone come out looking refreshed. This shower tent is intended to be used with a portable shower system but can also just provide the privacy for a changing station. I'd tell you who made it, but I couldn't find a manufacturer's tag anywhere on it!
