His '01 Tacoma Double Cab has been seen in the pages of numerous magazines over the past couple of years. Were you to spend time looking over his rig, you'd come to the same conclusion I did: It's not overbuilt, it's perfectly suited to Wil's needs. A few of the modifications include Sway-A-Way 2.5-inch coilovers, Deaver 10-pack leaf springs, Odyssey batteries, a Safari Snorkel, DeMello Offroad rock sliders, BFG M-T tires, an Engel fridge/freezer, and an Eezi-Awn 1600 rooftop tent. Wil and his wife sleep in the rooftop tent, which allowed him to build a custom storage system in the bed of his truck. Folding down the tailgate reveals a drawer system with access to tools, spare parts, and more. |
