Nevada Trail Ride - Southern Nevada Wheeling

Robert Wandel, supervisory outdoor recreation planner for the BLM's Las Vegas Field Office, attended the Hump N Bump event in his showroom-condition Jeep Grand Cherokee. The rig faired well through most of the Bowl Trail, though the rear bumper did become slightly removed at one point.

Jeeps weren't the only 4x4s seeing action at the Hump N Bump. This FJ Cruiser made a good showing as it "humped and bumped" over obstacles with ease.

Much of the area within the Logandale Trails System features fiery-red sandstone formations that are reminiscent of the topography around Moab, Utah.

The Bowl Trail gets its name from the large bowl-shaped valley that the trail traverses.
