A caravan of Jeep vehicles crests a hill on the descent to the Sweetwater Ranch. Despite the high altitude, access to the Sweetwater Mountains is not extreme. Our group included a stone stock TJ Rubicon, a stock TJ Sport, a lifted XJ Cherokee, and a mildly lifted CJ-5. The typical truck-based, stock SUV can negotiate these roads without difficulty. A more car-like SUV could have ground clearance issues. View Related Article
