Mojave National Preserve Stakes

We continued to monitor our GPS, which showed an intersection here. Three stakes blocked the other route. Was this the work of an enviro-nut who wanted an established route to fade into oblivion so it could be closed forever? I grew concerned and needed some answers. As we drove along, we saw another spot where the GPS showed an intersection but the other trail was blocked off with stakes. View Related Article
