Back To The Salt Tram Control Station Hike

The night was a chilly one, but we were rewarded with primo morning views and the chance to get an early start on the next day’s conquest. In addition to the summit crossover station, the Saline Valley Salt Tram has standing towers and control stations all along the line. We hiked partway down the Saline Valley side (as opposed to the Owens Valley side) to check out the nearest control station. View Related Article
