A disposable camera will be attached to the marker. Have a photo of yourself taken at the location (hopefully you won't be out alone) you found the marker and send the camera back with the marker when you mail it to me for verification. Though there will be a camera attached to the marker, we would prefer a digital image of the winner on the trail with the marker be e-mailed to us if you have the capability. If you do have a digital camera, please set it to the highest megapixel setting before snapping the photo. The GeoStash III page will highlight the enthusiast who found the prize, the product and its manufacturer, and the next month's prize to be given away.
4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine's GeoStash III contest will cover 12 issues starting with the October '07 issue (on sale 8/7/07) and run though the September '08 issue (on sale 6/7/08). The contest end for GeoStash III will be July 31, 2008. If the marker is not found for any given month, 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine reserves the right to award the prize to anyone who may have participated in the contest, or the prize will be donated to a four-wheel-drive club of our choosing to be raffled off at an event of its choice. Primedia and 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine cannot and will not be responsible for damaged or broken vehicles while out on the trail, personal injury, or wasted time. You are assuming all responsibility and liability by participating. Be safe, be smart, and keep your vehicles on the trail. Responsible four-wheeling and concern for the environment are key considerations for us, and should be for you too. No fighting, biting, scratching, clawing, or whining over the marker. I will not take any calls or e-mails from people who think they were cheated or think the contest isn't fair. No complaining. In some cases, subscribers to the magazine may receive it before it is placed on some newsstands, and some subscribers may receive it before other subscribers. It would be next to impossible for everyone to receive their copy of the magazine on the same day at the same time. This is out of our control and cannot be changed. Only one prize per individual.
