It is rare to find FJ-45 Land Cruisers on the trails today, and seldom will you see one in such fine repair as this. Intent on not allowing the vintage four-by to slip into the automotive trash bin, Ed Evans rescued the old truck and took it to T&J Performance Center, where Mike and Tom Barnett stripped it down to the frame and began a month-long restoration. Of course, they performed a wide range of upgrades as well, making this old beauty much more trail-worthy because the owner was anxious to get it back in the dirt and rocks. While Ed still has a few more modifications planned somewhere down the road, he's content for now to get his vintage iron back on the trail where it belongs.
