In September 2003, we featured AEV's Jeep Brute, and we will again tell you that this vehicle is as clean an aftermarket build as we have witnessed. Since this issue is trail-truck themed, we couldn't help but let the Brute grace the pages of our magazine again. American Expedition Vehicles in Missoula, Montana, has a considerable amount of time, money, and pride invested in the Brute's development. What lies before you is a tough vehicle with refined social graces.
When the concept for this Jeep truck was first crafted, owner of AEV, Dave Harrington, visualized the perfect four-wheel vehicle. The rig needed to fit every need of the hard-core Jeep enthusiast and the demanding requirements of the remote worker in places such as Alaska and Montana. The creation was a go-anywhere/do-anything Jeep truck with the ability to carry large amounts of gear and still be rugged and dependable.
