37x12.50R17LT Cooper Discoverer STT tires are mounted on 17x10 MB Razor alloy wheels. We'd like to see these wheels become available in a 5-on-5 lug pattern, so they'd work on JKs too.

For reliability and strength, the Adventure Prospector has a Tera CRD50R 1-ton hybrid frontend with 4.56 gears and a Detroit Locker. The Dana 50 is a bit smaller than a 60, allowing better ground clearance while still being very strong. The CRD50R uses 1-ton brakes, rotors, and hubs. Rand fabricated a custom track-bar mount that allows the track bar to be the same length as the drag link, eliminating bumpsteer (no, it's not enough to have them be the same angle). This is a problem that few address in the TJ and JK Wranglers. The heavy-duty TeraFlex tie rod and drag links have 1-ton tie-rod ends.

Every year, as the venerable 4.0-liter six was improved, it seemed to lose power. By 2006, the reliable mill was working hard to move the TJ Wrangler. Rand fixed this by installing an Eaton supercharger with Unichip engine management. The horsepower was greatly improved while driveability was still at OE levels. In other words, there's no pinging and very little additional noise from under the hood. At the transfer case, a Tera ESS slip-yoke eliminator was installed.

In the back, the TeraFlex PRO-LCG does away with the rear track bar by triangulating the upper control arms. The adjustable control arms and antisquat bracketry allows Rand to fine-tune his suspension. The 5-inch coils are supple and work very well on- and off-road. A Dynomax muffler improves performance. The Adventure Prospector is used, so it isn't shiny underneath like a show queen.
