1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ - The Finished Product

The massive 40x13.50R17 Goodyear MT/R tires are mounted on 17x9 American Eagle wheels with OMF beadlocks. The EXT rear corners allow plenty of space for maximum articulation. Bestop soft half-doors are also in place.

A Dynatrac ProRock 60 front axle is in place and utilizes 5.38 gears and a Detroit Locker. Dynatrac steering components are controlled by a PSC steering box. Also note the center-mounted limiting strap to control suspension droop.

A Dynatrac ProRock 60 axle resides at the rear of the YJ. An Atlas II with a 5:1 low ratio is hidden under a 7075 aluminum flat-belly skidplate that is super-light and strong. The Gen-Right Builders triangulated four-link suspension components and adjustable air springs replaced the factory leaf-spring suspension setup.

The interior of the YJ is rather sparse but still features a built-in 12- to 120-volt converter for charging cameras or laptops, an iPod sound system, and a Cobra 40-channel CB radio. Hunsaker Synkro vinyl seats are installed on the factory seat mounts.

A Gen-Right EXT fuel tank and skidplate are installed in the location of the factory fuel tank and create more space to move the rear axle rearward to stretch the wheelbase. The outboard-mounted King air shocks and Air Lift adjustable air springs are also in view.

The Gen-Right stubby-style front winch bumper holds a Warn winch equipped with Viking synthetic winch line and safety thimble and a TeraFlex aluminum fairlead. A set of Hella lights is also installed.

Tony's YJ features a host of Gen-Right body-armor items. The armor collection includes Boulder Series front tube fenders, rocker guards, rear corners, and a gas-tank skidplate. For ultimate driver and passenger protection, a Gen-Right 1-3/4-inch-diameter full rollcage is also in place.

A rear shot of the YJ displays the Gen-Right Boulder Series fold-down rear tire carrier and EXT Stretch rear corners. Flush-mount LED taillights provide a clean appearance.
