The rear axle is a favorite heavyweight: a Dana 60 sourced from a Jeep J4000 pickup. It, too, received 4.56 gears and an ARB Air Locker along with another owner-fabbed diff guard. Rear leaf springs come from an '85 Wagoneer, complimented by another set of Doetsch shocks. Note the air tank amidships between the frame rails: this is the reservoir for the Air Lockers as well as the supply for a multi-purpose external air fitting. View Related Article
