The All-Pro front and rear bumpers are a tremendous improvement over the factory bumpers and greatly increase the vehicle's off-highway prowess. The bumpers not only look exceptionally clean, they lend a high degree of protection. We can't emphasize enough that the bumpers significantly improved the vehicle's approach and departure by an amazing 11 inches up front and 3 inches in the rear. They also open up the fenderwell to allow unrestricted movement of oversize tires. The bumpers are made from 1/8-inch cold-rolled steel plate; 3/16-inch steel is used around the winch mounting areas. The front allows easy installation of a Warn 9.5xp winch. It will accommodate other brands roughly the same size or smaller, but slight modifications might be necessary. The rear bumper options include a bolt-on 2-inch receiver, CB antenna mounting points, a swing-out tire carrier, a gas can rack, and it can incorporate the factory backup sensors.
The original FJ40 was built for the Army back in the day and made history for its dependability under adverse and abusive service conditions in the harshest climates around the world. It served well. With the addition of All-Pro's suspension and components to the new '07 FJ, we feel the modern version of the Cruiser will undoubtedly leave its mark in history as well.
