Precision Cutting
If you've ever wondered how fabrication shops make all those precision cuts to create bumpers, suspension products, and more, typically it's done with a plasma cutter. Hobart Welders has just released a new plasma cutter: the AirForce 250ci. Featuring a built-in air compressor and lightweight inverter technology, the unit offers powerful cutting and weighs just 27 pounds - half the weight of the previous model. The AirForce 250ci is powered by standard 115-vac household current, and it can cut steel up to 1/4 inch thick. The unit allows cutting with an arc up to 3/16 inch long, which is three times longer than some competitive units. The AirForce comes ready to use with a 16.5-foot, ergonomic HP-25 torch designed for increased comfort, more efficient postflow air cooling, and economical replacement tips.

Extreme Onboard Air
Viair's new Dual Onboard Air Systems make installing an onboard air system simple and efficient by including everything you need in one box. With dual compressors, the refresh rate of the tank is lightning-fast, and enough flow is available to run air tools on demand. Dual Onboard Air Systems come with added-value tools such as a tire inflation gun, a 200-psi inline pressure regulator (for air lockers), and a versatile blowgun. Air up tires on the trail with ease or perform roadside repairs yourself using air tools. Each system comes with dual compressors, a 2-gallon (six-port) air tank, pneumatic fittings, a pressure switch, electrical relays and parts, wiring, a dashpanel monitor, all required hardware, and detailed instructions for a flawless install.

A Breath Of Fresh Air
n Help wake up your FJ Cruiser with the new K&N AirCharger High-Flow intake system for the '07 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4.0L V-6 (PN: 63-9030). K&N claims it increases horsepower by 11.95 hp at 4,785 rpm over the stock Toyota intake configuration. To achieve this performance increase, K&N replaces the FJ's original intake assembly, including the airbox, air filter, and intake tube with an all-new intake design. The new system draws air through a K&N high-flow air filter that increases airflow and filtering capacity and never needs to be replaced. Protecting the chrome-topped, cone-shaped air filter and isolating it from engine heat is a powdercoated steel heat shield that replaces the FJ's stock airbox. As it passes the filter, air travels through a roto-molded polyethylene tube shaped to drive a more laminar flow of air to the FJ's engine.
