Universally Better Flow
Advanced Flow engineering (aFe Filters), maker of filters and exhaust systems, as introduced its new Stage 1 XP Universal Offroad Canister cold-air intake. Two kits are offered. PN 51-11061 comes with a huge 15-inch Pro Dry S pre-air filter that is perfect for ultradusty conditions combined with the Pro-Guard 7 filter as the secondary filter within the canister. PN 75-11061 comes with aFe's ultra-heavy-duty Pro-Guard 7 filter with no prefilter.
These kits are universal and are primarily used in off-road racing categories but should be considered by anyone who operates a trail vehicle in extremely dusty conditions.
In recent testing, PN 51-11061 produced 21 hp and 36 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 rpm. The aFe Universal Offroad Canister increased airflow by 82 percent over the most popular competitors' unit.

Short is a Good Thing
Advance Adapters hasn't fallen "short" on this one - a new shorty GM SM465-to-Jeep-Dana-18/20 adapter kit. At a 7/8-inch length, this adapter kit is the shortest on the market, providing a combined transmission-and-adapter length of only 12-7/8 inches.
Advance Adapters didn't stop there. The SM465-to-Jeep-Dana-18/20 adapter is manufactured from a Blanchard ground steel plate and features three transfer case clocking options. These clocking options are 20-, 33-, and 40-degree intervals. The clocking options will allow a fine-tune conversion to maximize clearance between the transmission and yoke. To obtain the adapter length of 7/8 inch, Advance had to manufacture a new SM465 mainshaft. This new mainshaft fits six-spline drive gears only.
