New HIDPIAA has recently expanded its lineup of HID lamps with the introduction of the PIAA 800, a powerful 7-1/2-inch-diameter lamp that has proven its worth on WRC Rally applications. The lamps features a clear nonfluted glass lens, coupled with a computer-designed reflector and high-output 35-watt HID bulb rated at 4300K. The Triton Power-Steering BoxBTB Products has introduced a specially built heavy-duty power steering box. This variable 16-13:1 turning ratio allows more control on- and off-road. A 3-3/8-inch turning ratio improves steering characteristics at high and low speeds. It also uses a heavier torsion shaft, producing more road feel with a 3/4-inch, 30-spline input shaft. This three-bolt-style box, with O-ring-style fittings, can be used as a direct replacement for '87-and-newer Jeep Wranglers, early Land Cruisers, Jeep conversions, and numerous other applications. It also bolts directly to BTB's mounting-plate kit.

ZJ Long-Arm KitA new 5-inch long-travel suspension system for the Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ is now available from Rusty's Offroad. This kit bolts on to the uniframe with minor drilling; no welding is required or recommended. Both the long lower and upper link are completely adjustable. Factory rubber control-arm bushings are used to ensure that no noise or vibrations will be transmitted through the uniframe. The arms are constructed of 2x0.225-inch-wall DOM tubing. The new radius-style arms bolt to a 3/16-inch-thick laser-cut steel crossmember that's surrounded by a 3/16-inch frame reinforcement. The system will allow the use of 33x12.5-inch tires. The kit includes four coil springs, an adjustable rear track bar, an HD adjustable front track bar with a HD frame mount, front and rear shocks, JKS front antisway bar disconnects, front and rear stainless-steel-braided brake lines. The long-arm assembly includes a HD crossmember, adjustable long arms (front and rear), adjustable radius arms, and the frame reinforcement.
