Klune V Gears & an Atlass II Transfer Case - How Low Can You Go?

Mating the Klune-V Underdrive to the Atlas II offers a number of choices. Both units are manufactured with spline and bolt pattern options available so they will bolt up to a wide variety of applications. Which choice to make, however, is really a no-brainer: use the stoutest. We used the GM 32-spline output on the Klune with the GM 32-spline input on the Atlas. Due to the length of the 32-spline input snout on the Atlas, a short spacer was used that was supplied with the Klune. Bolt patterns on both were the Jeep rotation of the ubiquitous six-bolt circular pattern. Ordered with compatible options, they bolt directly together. View Related Article
