The Atlas 4SP Transfer Case
The standard approach for the planetary shift mechanism mounting is to sandwich the sheetmetal between a provided plate and the top of the lever housing. With the size of the NV4500 transmission in this application, flat sheetmetal with clearance underneath is hard to come by. We whipped up a bracket that bolts to the side of the transmission and lets the shift lever protrude through the tunnel enough to actuate the mechanism.
