Take a look at our Project X-Blade's stance with the new setup. Looks good, eh? The grocery-getting soccer-mom look was finally starting to vanish. Unfortunately, the aftermarket for this vehicle is still very limited, and we were not able to find a suitable wheel for the project yet. We are hoping to see a few of the top wheel manufacturers step up to the plate soon and deliver some great offerings for the many Nissan Xterra owners out there crying out for wheels.

2006 Nissan Xterra Suspension Install Tires
Let's take a closer look at the differences between our former stock BFG Rugged Trail T/A tires and the new BFG T/AKO tires. The width of the two tires is virtually the same, with the new tire being a bit taller. The BFG T/AKO has much more aggressive sidewall protection, much deeper traction lugs, and a tread pattern that really thrives in all-terrain conditions. In the past 2,000 miles we've put on the new tires, they have seen dirt, rock, mud, pavement, and rain. Even with the stock wheels, when we aired down the tires to 10 psi we experienced no bead slippage problems and felt confident in the vehicle's off-highway traction.
