The X Factor short-arm kit includes adjustable front control arms with high-misalignment ends, rear triangulated four-link control arms, a rear-axle mounting cradle/truss, an adjustable track bar and drop-down mounting bracket, 4-inch-lift coil springs, adjustable extended sway-bar links, extended brake lines, a dropped pitman arm, and necessary brackets and hardware.

The crew at Off Road Evolution began the installation of the rear components with the rear four-link mounting cradle/axle truss. Rock Krawler offers the cradle for Dana 35 and Dana 44 rearends, and a weld-in cradle option is also available. Here, the cradle was positioned on two diff-cover bolts before the axle U-bolts were secured.

With the four-link cradle secured using the diff-cover bolts and U-bolts, the upper control-arm mounting brackets were removed from the axletubes. The brackets were removed in order to create clearance for the upper triangulated control arms.
