1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Suspension Upgrade - Grand Plan

The rear upper unibody mounts were bolted in place. The upper mounts receive extra support from supplied brackets that are welded to the unibody frame. The brackets install over where the rear sway bar mounts. The rear sway bar is eliminated with the triangulated four-link design.	The rear lower control arms were also secured in place.	The rear upper triangulated arms secure to the supplied four-link axle cradle/truss atop the rear axle.
With the proper arm length determined, the locknuts were tightened to keep the arms from rotating during suspension flex.	As a final step of the rear installation, the ORE crew installed the Rock Krawler Hydro long-travel shocks.	With installation of the rear components complete, the additional rear suspension droop is very apparent.
The new front coil springs were installed along with the new adjustable sway-bar disconnects. A dropped pitman arm and a dropped track bar bracket will also be installed.	The new front adjustable control arms were also installed.	Extended stainless steel brake lines were installed up front.
With the Rock Krawler Hydro long-travel shocks in place, installation of the front components was complete.	The rear triangulated four-link setup permits a great increase in suspension droop and offers antisquat characteristics for excellent climbing ability.	Combined with an ARB Bull Bar front bumper, the X Factor suspension greatly increases the Jeep's approach angle.
The Pro Comp Xterrains offer a capable tread design and feature two-ply sidewalls to stand up against rips and tears.
