The stock stereo in '97-'02 TJs is secured using two bolts at the face and a bracket that attaches to the rear of the unit and the bulkhead. The bracket is somewhat difficult to reach and requires removal of the glovebox for access. A ratcheting open-end wrench is very helpful in removal. View Related Article
