We tested the system by airing down a 35-inch tire to 5 pounds and then timing the inflation. The compressor inflated the tire to 32 pounds in 2.37 seconds - not bad. The compressor is also capable of powering air tools, such as an impact wrench to change a tire, but the optional air tank must be used. The PowerPlant could also prove to be very handy on a jobsite.
