Whatever type of terrain you'll be using your Jeep JK on, consider taking the bone-jarring bump out of the ride. When your Jeep's suspension bottoms out, the harsh meeting of the lower metal spring mount and the hard rubber bumpstop isn't always the most pleasant union.
Off Road Evolution's new Evolution bumpstop system enables you to drive harder and faster over rough terrain without the harsh jarring of your suspension when bottoming out. This bumpstop setup is an original design from Off Road Evolution and comes complete with billet air-bump mounting brackets and two 2.0-inch air bumpstops. The Evolution bumpstop system will work with any Jeep JK suspension lift kit (except coilover conversions) and is a direct replacement of your factory bumpstops. The bumpstops can be installed by someone with moderate mechanical abilities in one afternoon with basic tools and a Sawzall.
After installation, we headed off to the desert for some real-world testing over fast whoops and tough rocks. The air stops worked like a charm, keeping the usually harsh bottoming out to an almost unnoticeable cushion effect when the suspension reached its maximum upward-travel point.
