The windshield header was flipped forward, and the latches were locked down to clamp the header in place. Then the rear corners were inserted into the corner belt rails to pull the top skin taut over the bow assembly. Once in place, the top skin was snapped to the center top bow.

The Flip Top is easily unlatched and tipped rearward for open-air driving over the cab. Removing the upper half-doors enhances the experience.
