Poly Performance's coilover shock system really took a liking to the extended wheelbase. It handled incredibly well through low-speed rock trails and washboard surfaces, but we'll likely adjust the spring rates slightly after some high-speed testing through desert whoops.

With 6 feet of bed space, we have enough room to carry a few mountain bikes or even a motorcycle to our camping destination, along with all of our necessary gear. Line-X of Huntington Beach completed the spray-in bedlining.

We installed a set of MasterCraft recliner seats to facilitate access behind the seat area. There's actually a good amount of space behind the seats to fit a backpack, a soft ice chest, and other miscellaneous gear. We're also able to fit a tool bag and other supplies without overflowing.

The Brute half-cab hardtop is secured in place using factory hardware. It offers a lot of headroom due to its center bulge, which also creates space for overhead dome-light pockets designed to accept '03-and-later sound-pod dome lights. Build A Jeep of Oregon supplied a set of used sound pods that we scavenged for the lights shown installed here.

Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts in Ogden, Utah, made us a longer rear driveshaft to accommodate the lengthened wheelbase.

Fantasy Muffler in Buena Park, California, completed our exhaust system using the existing Banks muffler.
