Kilby Jeep Air Compressor - Don't Leave Home Without It!

The compressor-mounting bracket is shown installed next to the alternator. The new lower A/C line is also in place and passes under the mounting bracket.	The provided alternator-support bracket was installed once the alternator was repositioned.	With the compressor in place, it was plumbed using the provided Goodyear Insta-Grip hose. The new serpentine belt was also installed. As a final step, a dash-mounted switch was wired for compressor operation.
The York compressor was then set on the mounting bracket and bolted in place. It was necessary to slightly bend the ABS lines for proper clearance. The new idler pulley was also installed.	We mounted the air manifold next to the battery using the provided manifold-mounting bracket. The manifold is CNC-milled from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and is anodized black for corrosion resistance. The manifold offers two 3/8-inch NPT inlet/outlet ports and five 1/4-inch NPT ports. The pressure switch, air gauge, and relief valve are also shown installed.	The 2-1/2-gallon air tank mounts to the underbody of the Jeep using the provided mounting bracket. Once installed, the air tank was plumbed through the manifold and air couplers using the supplied hose and fittings.
We installed an air coupler at the rear of the JK beneath the taillight in the passenger-side rear corner of the body.	Another air chuck was installed in the front bumper of the Wrangler.
