The Skid Row engine/transmission skidplate is shown here installed on an '00 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Once the plate was installed, we took to the trail in an effort to prove the skidplate's worth. It easily cleared the front driveshaft and provided ample underbody protection from rocks and other oil-pan-smashing objects. | 
Skid Row's TJ engine/transmission skidplate is made from 1/4-inch-thick steel and reinforced with 1/4-inch angle stock. A large oil-drain hole is in place, so the vehicle can be serviced without removing the skidplate. Mounting hardware is also included. |
