JB Conversions supplied a new JK Rubicon Rock-Trac transfer case. It bolted right in. The Rock-Trac's 4:1 low range is necessary off-road with the 3.8 V6's powerband and works much better than the Sahara's stock 2.72:1 low range.

A set of 37x12.50R17 Pro Comp Tri-Ply Mud Terrains are mounted on 17-inch Walker Evans Racing beadlocks. The Pro Comps are strong, sticky, and some of the best all-around tires ever made. Although they are siped from the factory, Jack's Tire & Oil in Logan, Utah, siped the center lugs for even better snow and rock performance (you can't see those sipes in this photo.)
