Travis at Mount Logan mounts a new TrXus MT on a 15x8 alloy TJ Unlimited wheel.

The long radius arms tuck into the crossmember out of the way.

The Currie crate Ford 9-inch looks great in the Jeep. As mentioned, this one has disc brakes with an integrated drum emergency brake, 4.10 gears and an Eaton/Detroit TrueTrac differential. The Rubicon Express monotube shocks are valved perfectly for the XJ. Oops, the U-bolts still need to be trimmed.

Currie Enterprises' XJ steering system includes a beefy tie rod and drag link that are much stronger than stock. John Williams installed Sierra 4.10 gears and an Eaton/Detroit TrueTrac in the reverse 30 pumpkin. Mount Logan also replaced leaking axle seals and cleaned up the housing so it looks almost like new.

The front driveshaft worked fine. We had Tom Wood's Custom Driveshafts build the 1310 CV rear driveshaft that's strong and true.

31x10.50R15LT Interco TrXus MT tires are mounted on 15x8 TJ Unlimited alloy wheels. School's still out as to whether the XJ will need 1-inch wheel spacers or not.
