The new Wrangler MT/R is Goodyear's first tire to incorporate DuPont Kevlar, which is pound-for-pound five times stronger than steel. The Kevlar is used in the sidewalls along with two additional polyester plies with opposing cord angles to create excellent cut and puncture resistance.
