Poly Performance skid plates...
Poly Performance skid plates are precision CNC-cut and formed to offer a perfect fit on Jeep JK Wranglers. The complete system includes an engine oil pan skid plate, a transmission skid plate, and a transfer case skid plate.
The factory skid plates on most 4x4s are rarely up to the task of withstanding repeated trail use and abuse. In most cases they are manufactured from thin material and offer only a limited degree of protection. Sometimes the factory skid plates will even limit ground clearance and actually create a low-hanging nuisance that catches and hangs up on obstacles. One option is to remove the offending "protective" skid plate but that can leave the item it was supposedly protecting even more vulnerable. A better option is to upgrade to an after market skid plate assembly such as that available from Poly Performance.
