Brian Bell shows another Sway-A-Way exclusive: an O-ring-preloaded wear band. "The O-ring puts pressure on the wear band and makes a better seal. It also makes up for tolerances between the main bore and the piston. With the preloaded wear band, the valving is more effective because fluid isn't blowing by the piston." Sway-A-Way also uses 7075 aluminum exclusively for its pistons. "We tried 6061 and 2024, but they just don't hold up under hard use," Bell revealed. View Related Article
