Riverside 4-WheelersThe owners of this 2000 Jeep TJ, Scott and Dolly Schoeppner from Anaheim, California, are longtime members of the Riverside 4-Wheelers. Their Jeep features a Currie front bumper and towbar, a Warn XD 8000I winch, a No Limit Engineering rear bumper, a Hi-Lift jack and Bestop tire cover, and a Safari top. The suspension setup is a combination of a 1-inch Currie body lift with a Currie 4-inch suspension lift and Rancho RS 9000 shocks. Other modifications include a Dana 44 rear axle and a Dana 30 front axle, a Currie NP 231 shift-improvement kit, a Currie NP 231 tailshaft conversion, an Anchor muffler, Wet Okole seat covers, a Realistic CB radio, and a slew of other modifications.
Southwestern TJSkip Crandall from Hesperia, California, is known to frequent the Hammers, Big Bear, and the Lake Arrowhead area. This particular picture of his 2000 TJ was taken on the Waterfall trail in Calico. To power up such trails, the Jeep's automatic transmission is beefed up by a Tera Low 4:1 transfer case reduction. The transfer case also has a heavy-duty short-shaft fixed-yoke that connects to the CV driveshaft. A K&N filter and a Spin Tech muffler help the stock six-cylinder engine. The rear differential is a Dana 44 with a Detroit, and 4.56 gears are installed front to back. The Rubicon Express 6-inch lift provides the room needed for the 15x10-inch Center Line Hellcats wrapped by 35x12.5x15 Goodyear MTR rubber. The Jeep is also outfitted with Sun Performance rocker panel guards, a Kilby gas tank cover, and homemade bumpers.
Trail-WorthyAlthough Sven Schlog from Woodland Hills, California, hasn't owned this '94 Jeep Cherokee Sport very long, he's already made sure it's trail-worthy. In the engine compartment, his Jeep has a stock 4.0L high-output I-6 cooled with a two-row radiator. The exterior is outfitted with a Con-Ferr roof rack, Pro Comp 100-watt lights, a custom spare tire bracket, ventvisors, and a Hi-Lift jack. For suspension, a 3-inch Pro Comp lift front and rear 3-inch Rancho lift did the trick. Still to come are Rock Ready rocker rails, a skidplate, lockers, steel bumpers, and a winch.
