1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ - Trail Rigs

One Clean X
Mike and Trish Carver of Mooresville, North Carolina, own this '02 Wrangler X. The 4.0L inline-six was treated to an AEM cold air intake, a throttle body spacer, and a Flowmaster 40-series muffler. Aft of the engine, the stock five-speed and the stock NP231 were retained. Lift comes courtesy of a 3.5-inch BDS kit, which was supplemented with an Old Man Emu steering stabilizer and a set of sway bar disconnects. The tires are 33-inch Nitto Terra Grapplers. The front Dana 30 and rear Dana 35 are still under the Jeep, but the rear will get a Dana 44 upgrade at some point. Trailside paint damage (they didn't say where) inspired new fender flares, a new top, and a front-end bra. The rig looks clean, but keep in mind it's no shame to have a few scratches here and there.

A Chilled YJ
Joe Weyrich is an EMT from Honey Grove, Pennsylvania. His '92 YJ Wrangler is stocked with medical supplies to aid those who have mishaps in the mountains of central PA. The Wrangler's four-cylinder is turbocharged for extra oomph, and you'll also find a 3-inch body lift, 29-inch tires, and an 8,000-pound winch along for the ride.
